Rowena, Art Therapist and Transpersonal Counsellor, provides clients an inviting space to process emotions in a non-invasive and creative way.
Rowena’s approach is evidence-based with trauma-informed therapies. She is also a mother of three boys with additional training in Polyvagal-Focused and Sensorimotor Expressive Art Therapy.
Developing each session to suit the clients’ unique needs, Rowena helps facilitate self-exploration and aid in the healing of the mind, body and soul.
It’s an opportunity to discover one’s own inner wisdom with guidance through multiple techniques and creative processes and also explore, develop and identify one’s own resources and inner strength.
Rowena uses techniques she has learnt throughout her training in psychotherapy, psychology, somatic, transpersonal, shamanic, as well as energy healing processes.
Through landscapes of experiences, emotions, dreams, storytelling, spirituality and creative expressions, the body and the arts do the talking in a safe and non-judgmental space to process trauma and allowing the integration of life events and experiences.
Rowena is available in clinic Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.30am-2.30pm.
